Expressions of gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

  2. Me again, I thought Melody Beattie sounded familiar, but couldn't immediately placer her. Her book on codependency helped change my life!

  3. Willow,

This post came out of the gratitude I am feeling for all the gracious people where I work who helped me during the 2 and 1/2 weeks that Steph and I were without a car. I got the car out of the shop yesterday, and although it's not a new car by any stretch of the imagination, and it still has some minor issues, I was SO GRATEFUL to have MY car back! AND because I got my income tax refunds, Stepha and I were able to go out IN OUR CAR and have dinner together, (nothing fancy, just a favorite Mexican place), and then over to get some things we needed at the store.

It's all so very simple, but I'm so very grateful. :)
