True freedom and the end of suffering is living in such a way as if you had completely chosen whatever you feel or experience at this moment.~ Eckhart Tolle
I was almost right there, when a car in front of my bike crashed into one that had stopped abruptly in front of it. A car behind me squashed me as it crashed into the car in front of me. Later they found a spiral break in my leg, which caused two shards of bone to stick into my flesh. The pain did give me a focus, which distracted me from heavy bruising elsewhere on my body. Such suffering is common in any war zone. To try to comfort ourselves with reworked Buddhism, I think, distracts us from responsibility for the very real suffering, which always exists in our world.
I just dropped by and this caught my attention as I am just reading Eckhart Tolle's the power of now, so in aid of synchronicity thought I would say hi). Happy day.
