My little city has been covered in a blanket of ice and snow, forcing many businesses, including the one I work for to shut down for the day. So here I am enjoying an unexpected day off. It's the perfect day to sit with a cup of hot tea with my favorite Mozart piano concerti playing through my headphones and work on my book.
And by the way, Happy 253rd birthday, Mozart.
I love days like that when I don't have to go out in such treacherous conditions. Ice can be beautiful, even tho' it's also deadly. Enjoy your unexpected gift of a free day! We only got the fringe of that storm and all it did was give us a dusting of snow (on top of the two feet we already have on the ground here), so we were lucky.
